Box-type substations are the most economical, reasonable, safe, and scientific power distribution devices in today's power distribution system. They are pre-installed and mobile power distribution devices integrating high-voltage switches, distribution transformers, and low-voltage switches.
Box-type substations are suitable for industrial and mining enterprises, residential areas, urban public electricity, bustling city centers, construction site power supply, etc. The production of box-type substations in China began in the early 1980s, but its development was extremely slow. In developed European countries, box-type substations already account for 70% of distribution transformers, and in the United States, they account for 90%. In recent years, with the continuous upgrading and transformation of the power distribution network, box-type substations have been widely used.
Our company, adhering to the principle of serving the power market and supporting various complete sets of electrical appliance manufacturers, through close cooperation with scientific research units, and after years of dedicated research and continuous improvement by scientific research units, has finally developed non-metallic substation enclosures that meet the characteristics and technical standards of China's power distribution devices, and have passed the inspection of the authoritative institution of the National Materials Research Institute. The technical indicators are among the leading domestic ones. After actual operation in various parts of the country, the outdoor box-type substations, outdoor switch stations, outdoor ring network stations, and outdoor cable branch boxes made with this material all have excellent performance. The enclosure is suitable for single or double-unit box-type substations of 1250KVA and below, 3-10 circuit outdoor distribution boxes, outdoor terminal boxes, outdoor switch stations, and semi-buried box-type substations.

■ Implementation Standards
The materials of the enclosures produced by our company meet the standards of GB/T15231.1.3.4.5-94, GB10294-88, GBJ82-85, IEC-1330, and DL/T537-2002. The complete set of box-type substations and type tests all meet the standards. The protection level of the front and sides of the box-type substation is IP43, and the ventilation part around the top cover and the bottom of the transformer room of the box-type substation is IP33. (If users have special requirements for the protection level, please specify when ordering.)
■ Structural Features
This series of box-type substations features compact structure, strong integrity, safe and reliable operation, convenient maintenance, and beautiful appearance. Economically, it features small land occupation, convenient movement, and short construction and commissioning cycle.
The bottom frame of the enclosure produced by our company is made of steel welded together. After welding, the entire bottom frame is hot-dip galvanized or zinc-sprayed. For large and extra-large enclosures, the bottom frame is made of hot-dip galvanized channel steel welded together, and then subjected to special anti-corrosion treatment to ensure that the bottom frame has a sufficiently long lifespan. The steel specifications are selected according to the size of the enclosure and the capacity of the transformer or the user's requirements. There are also sunken bases and oil tank bases for users to choose from. The walls and top cover are made of "alkali-resistant fiberglass-reinforced special cement and other additives." The outer protective door is made of two structures: "color-coated steel plate, polystyrene flame-retardant heat insulation material" and "reinforced outer protective spray-hardened plastic decorative material." The transformer room has a double-layer protective door, with the inner protective door made of aluminum alloy material. All exposed parts are made of stainless steel.
The inside of the enclosure is divided into high-voltage switchgear units, transformer units, and low-voltage switchgear units by metal steel plates, and each unit is strictly isolated. The structural layout is divided into "pin" type, "eye" type, and internal operation type and external operation type. The overall box-type substation is divided into "single transformer configuration" and "double transformer configuration." High-voltage switches have "terminal" power supply and "ring network" power supply. The primary line configuration is "cable type" and "busbar type." The electricity metering secondary instrument system has two types: internal and external installation. Each unit is equipped with a lighting device, and is equipped with an interlock switch and a forced ventilation device. Various structures and devices can be proposed to our company according to the user's requirements.
Push-pull lifting devices are installed on both sides of the bottom of the enclosure for convenient lifting, transportation, and installation. There are total grounding device points around the bottom frame, and users can choose arbitrarily.
High and low voltage switchgear units can adopt standard structure or panel-mounted, frame-mounted structure. The former has strong integrity, and the latter has compact overall size.
Transformers can adopt oil-immersed or dry type. The former has a larger volume and is more affordable; the latter has a smaller volume, better reliability, will not cause combustion and explosion, and can adapt to various environments.
■ Base Features
The box-type substation base is made of channel steel and angle steel, and the shell is made of a combination of aluminum alloy plates, stainless steel plates, and aluminum-zinc plated plates. The surface is treated with electrostatic spraying. It has extremely strong resistance to sun exposure, radiation, aging, flame retardancy, and heat insulation.
